Emirates Driving Institute was established in Dubai in 1991. The Institute is the most successful and largest Driving Institute in Dubai and the Middle East. It began training in one area of Al Qusais in Dubai center and continued to expand and spread in the emirate until the number of branches has reached more than 56 offices, including two major areas in Al Quoz and Port Rashid.
The Institute offers training courses whereby the qualified trainee obtains a driver’s license using a large fleet of vehicles with more than 1000 vehicles of different categories, such as light vehicles, buses, heavy trucks, forklifts.
The Institute is in collaboration with international partners such as the Institute of the auto industry in the United Kingdom (IMI), the International Association of Driving, and the Institute of talented drivers in the United Kingdom (IMA), to ensure that standards keep pace leading leadership and educational development tests.
Institute initiated the launch of the first training program for drivers with special needs in Dubai, for the people who can use a foot pedal where they are training these people are equipped to control by hand vehicles. He received the Institute’s Dubai Award for Sustainable Transport category with special needs for providing this course in 2009.
The Institute offers the best facilities for the students at the main branch in Qusais, which is scattered over 510,500 square feet of space, including reception areas, registration, Cafeteria 2, lecture halls, training simulation Hall, Safety Hall, and parking areas for students.
